Looking for your first
home? The process can be
daunting if you do not have some
one to guide you through the
maze of options and requirements. Origin
Finance brokers go
through the process daily with
their clients so they have the
experience to help you with all
stages of the purchase. We make
it easy for you.
Where Do you Start?
The first step in owning your
first home is to find out how
much home you can afford. To do
this you need to find out how
much various lenders will lend
you, but it is more important to
know how much
your payments will be and how
much you can borrow.
How Do Origin Finance Compare
Loans?
At Origin we’ve compared
hundreds of loans from major
banks and other loan providers
to help you find the loan that’s
right for you (from over 500
loans and 35 lenders). You won't
find every loan available in the
market - only selected ones our
experience shows are the best.
Along with their expertise and
experience, our Advisers will
use our specialized software to
select loans that suit your
needs best, creating a shortlist
of loans that are competitive
and suitable – making the
selection process
straightforward and
trouble-free.
Saving Your Deposit
Lenders all like you to have
saved some deposit towards your
first home. This deposit could
come from gifts from family or
other sources or the
First Home
Owners Grant from the
Federal Government. It is even
possible now to purchase your
first home with a 100% home
loan where your borrow the
entire purchase price, although
there are still possibly some
other lender and government
charges.
What Government Assistance is
Available?
There are several government
assistance schemes in Australia
to help you own your first home.
The
First Home Owners Grant is a
federal grant of $7,000 to
assist you with the purchase.
State governments also offer a
concession on stamp duty. In NSW
this is the
First Home
Plus Scheme. First home plus
is a complete waiving of stamp
duty for purchases up to
$500,000 and some concession to
$600,000. Fill in the
quick enquiry form and we
will let you know if you
qualify.
Getting a Pre-Approval before
you find the dream home
With our assistance you can
get a finance approval prior to
finding a property. This no
obligation service gives you the
confidence that you have finance
available when you look at
homes. This not only will give
you piece of mind but will
dramatically help in
negotiations with the seller.
Pre-approval is a simple
process, simply fill in the
enquiry form and we will
select the best loans for your
situation and process all the
paperwork for you.
